Pycnogenol 25mg, 120ct
Pine bark extract 25 mg for arterial health
Pycnogenol® tablets contain pure, patented pine bark extract in 25 mg tablets. Pine bark extract is a bioflavonoid that supports blood vessel, tissue and arterial health.
A strong free-radical scavenger reported to have cardiovascular benefits such as vasorelaxant (vasodilator) activity, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibiting activity, and the ability to enhance the microcirculation by increasing capillary permeability. Pycnogenol also has clinically been observed to protect nerve cells against beta-amyloid, or glutamate induced toxicity, accelerate wound healing processes, reduces scar formation, decreases histamine release from mast cells, and inhibit pro-inflammatory cytokine actions. Anti-inflammatory effects in asthma patients and reduction of attention-deficit disorder and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder symptoms in children have been observed.
